Batch Edit¶

Edit a single attribute¶

If you need to set or update the value of any field or annotation for many items at once, proceed as follows:

select all the items to be edited using the checkboxes.
You might want to use filters to locate items
You might need to increase the number of displayed rows to see (and select) all the items to be changed
Click on the Bulk edit button to open the bulk edit interface
Find and select the property or the annotation to bulk edit
Enter the new value and validate

Edit items with templates¶

On the list page, there are two dropdown buttons to either download or upload a spreadsheet. From the download dropdown button, you can select "Download template for batch edit".

The interface will let you choose the columns you wish to modify and which possible annotations you want to change or add.

Once you have downloaded the template you can modify the values. It's important to keep the ID column, and remove the entire column for values that you do not wish to modify! Otherwise, any value set or unset will be changed, and there is no undo.
