Next unique code in serie

Every collection item in LabID can receive a unique code to uniquely identify it within a collection belonging to a given group.

The same way as on a new item page, it is possible to obtain the next unique code in a serie from list pages. To do so please click on the in the table toolbar. This opens up a modal where the next unique code can be generated.

Read more about the behavior of this widget here

• When no item is selected, LabID finds the first non empty code in the table and generates the next one
• When at least one item is selected, it considers this item code to generate the next one
