23.8.0 (Microscopy Support Release)

In this release, we addressed a few limitations reported by the Electron and Light Microscopy community.

Features

• Light Microscopy channels revamped:
  • a channel can now contain more than one labeled entity (STORM)
  • an assay without channel is now accepted (visible light)
• Assays and datasets can now be unprotected_i.e._the assay run directory (that contains all the data generated by an imaging session) may remain writable.
• Assay data can be registered directly from the LabID' Assay data repository folder (in addition to user dropboxes). This will allow us to directly move the data from the acquisition computer to its final storage location
• Revamped attachment UI allowing to batch delete attachments & embed attachment (pictures) from the attachment list

Improvements & Fixes

• Deleted items will not be offered in select drop-downs
• Resume failed data ingestion task
• Disable sample editor on frozen experiment
